Singapore today has 114 Hawker Centers, all of which are regulated by NEA’s Hawker Division Group.
NTUC FoodFare is clearly the biggest Operator (it acquired Kopitiam in Dec 2018) and some of the Town Councils/NEA have also delegated the running of their Hawker Centers to them (Bedok Interchange Hawker Center, Chong Pang Hawker Center, Old Airport Road Hawker Center, Toa Payoh Hawker Center & Whampoa Drive Hawker Center).
Another 13 new Hawker Centers are to be build by 2027.
1. Ci Yuan Hawker Center
This SEHC commenced operations in Aug-2015 and is run by Fei Siong Management.
It is part of the Ang Mo Kio GRC & along Hougang Ave 9 & is sited in the Ci Yuan Community Club.
2. Bukit Panjang Hawker Center
This SEHC commenced operations in Aug-2016 and is run by NTUC FoodFare.
It is part of the Bukit Panjang SMC, co-located with a Market and at the junction of Bukit Panjang Road & Bukit Panjang Ring Road.
3. Our Tampines Hub Hawker Center
This SEHC commenced operations in Nov-2016 and is run by NTUC FoodFare.
It is part of the Tampines GRC and located within the very happening Tampines Hub (houses a mall, swimming pool and a library) which is between the Tampines Central Park & Tampines MRT Station.
4. Jurong West Hawker Center
This SEHC commenced operations in Oct-2017 and was run by Koufu Hawker Management who decided not to renew the lease and cease operations in Aug-2020.
It is part of the West Coast GRC, co-located with a Market and at the junction of Jurong West Ave 4 & Jurong West Street 61.
5. Kampung Admiralty Hawker Center
This SEHC commenced operations in Sep-2017 and is run by NTUC FoodFare.
It is part of the Sembawang GRC at the junction of Woodlands Ave 7 & Woodlands Drive 71, and just next to the Admiralty MRT Station.
6. Yishun Park Hawker Center
This SEHC commenced operations in Sep-2017 and is run by Timbre Group.
It is part of the Nee Soon GRC, at the junction of Yishun Ave 11 & Yishun Ring Road & just across the picturistic Yishun Park.
7. Pasir Ris Central Hawker Center
This SEHC commenced operations in Jan-2018 and is run by NTUC FoodFare.
It is part of the Pasir Ris – Punggol GRC, along Pasir Ris Central & in the heart of breezy Pasir Ris Town Park.
